A Message from the President

 

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Carl Sandburg Middle School! I am honored to serve as president of our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) this year and would like to extend a warm invitation to all parents, guardians, and teachers to join us and help grow our organization. Your membership dues directly fund programs, help provide resources, and sponsor events that enrich our CSMS community. The more members and volunteers we have supporting our PTA, the more exciting things we can do for our school.

 

We all juggle many things between work, home, and activities, and sometimes it might feel like we don't have a lot of time to be involved. Contributing even a little of your time or resources towards PTA events helps create a positive and supportive environment for our students and teachers. It can be as simple as donating bananas for a staff breakfast or as involved as planning a fundraiser! By volunteering, you'll also get the chance to get to know the school and connect with fellow parents/guardians, students and staff members. 

 

Your support, no matter how big or small, makes a difference for our Panther community. I look forward to meeting you and hope you'll join us for our PTA meetings throughout the year!
